I have chosen a simple cupboard. my idea behind this is loosing items around the house, I imagined a cupboard or work surface that uses touch sensors and scales to monitor what items are in place and which are not. Surfaces contain wireless capabilities, data is monitored by a phone application, this would be downloaded via the app store or iTunes. The data provided would relate to shapes, sizes and weights placed within the cupboard and can be reset and tuned using the application, also available will be information about times and exact positions that items were last in place and will be used to find or track items that are believed to be lost. one way in which it will be able to recognise different objects will be by using advanced weight monitoring systems constantly updating information about any specific object on a surface.
