BBC Iplayer task
We have been tasked with redesigning the BBC IPlayer website, the main difference that we have been tasked with creating is to make the mouse click unneeded. basically everywhere we go we are used to clicking on items to open them, but what is a click, why is it needed. I visited a website called www.dontclick.it, this is a project that someone has created, it outlines the now basic instinct of clicking and why it isn't necessary. it shows how websites can work without clicking, using slide bars and time staggered areas in which you hover over. when looking at the don't click it site I noticed that at first it felt uncomfortable not clicking, also I found that when I was looking to open a tab to go to a new area it was difficult to get to the specified area, I would hover over a tab, but without moving it would select an incorrect area because of the sensitivity of the pointer. I also found that if I was to create my own version of BBC IPlayer it would have to be very versatile due to the amount of content that is uploaded daily, the sheer amount of information
